What level of softness should I go with — Firm, Medium or Plush?

Firmness preferences often come down to personal taste and sleeping style. Side sleepers may prefer more softness compared with stomach and back sleepers, who may prefer a firmer mattress to support their hips and pelvis.

The firmness levels of the Flexicare mattress come from Dunlop foam, layered at 3 differing levels of thickness to provide you with the perfect level of comfort and support that you need.

How do I remove the cover?

Along the head of the mattress, you will find a zipper under the fabric flap. Unzip this all the way from one side of the mattress to the other to remove the foam insert from the zipper.

Can I change the level of softness of the mattress?

Yes, all tops are interchangeable by removing the foam layer on the top half of the mattress and replacing it with another layer of your preferred softness. You can purchase these from a Flexicare retailer near you.

Can my legs go any higher than the amount shown?

Yes, the Flexicare mattress is versatile in that you can sleep on it “upside down”— that is, putting your feet where your head normally goes. This allows you to raise your feet to an almost 90-degree angle, providing better circulation for your body throughout the night.

How long is the warranty guarantee on the mattress?

The Flexicare mattress (frame & foam layers) has a 10 year retail warranty with 5 years full warranty and 5 years limited warranty.

The motor that controls the adjustment has 2 years full warranty and the wired remote has a 1-year full warranty.

The full warranty information is located here.

Will the mattress fit my base frame?

Yes, the Flexicare mattress is a self-contained unit, meaning it will fit onto your current bed frame or ensemble base and have full functionality.

Are the mattresses made in Australia?

Flexicare’s head office is based in Sydney, Australia. We are an Australian owned and operated company. The base of the mattress containing the motor and frame is manufactured in China. We follow strict quality control standards to ensure the mattress is made to our stringent specifications.

The base is then shipped to Sydney, where we assemble the full product and insert our specially designed foams created in association with Dunlop Australia. The final product is then sold in Australian retailers in NSW, QLD and ACT.

Will the mattress leave a body impression?

Your body’s shape may be reflected in the mattress as you sleep on it. This is completely normal in modern beds and generally means the foam is supporting your body as it should.

As recommended by most mattress manufacturers, to assist in providing even wear, rotate your mattress once a month for the first 3 months, then once every 6 months.

This can be done easily on the Flexicare mattress by simply unzipping the top cover, rotating the foam insert, then re-inserting it back in. You do not have to move the entire mattress frame.

Can I buy directly from Flexicare?

Flexicare does not sell directly to consumers. Our products are sold in Australian retailers in NSW, QLD and ACT. Please visit our stockists page to find your nearest retailer.
